| "I was born in Elberton, Georgia and
came to Philadelphia in 1952 and attended the Overbrook School for
the blind. I have been going to class at Allen's Lane Art Center since
February of this year. I have seen pieces of sculpture, but before
this year I have not done any at all. Through the hands-on experience
I have received from my instructor, I really became aware of its beauty."
